G.I. Joe - Season 1
It is a series of strong and dangerous adventures of special forces against the terrorist Cobra gangs that are trying to destroy the world with new schemes. The series begins with Albine and Bazuka seem to be making a new ally in Quick Kick, which may make things more complicated. On the other hand, Tomax and Xamot betrayed Cobra Commander and controlled Delta Space Station and the Dark Haze for themselves, as everything seems to turn into a dangerous turn in a short period of time.

All disquieting factors momentarily set aside, G.I. Joe featured impressive animation for the time, dedicated voice actors delivering solid performances and fairly sophisticated scripts for a cartoon.

Somewhere in my sharp recall of 'Yo Joe!' battle cries and racial/gender stereotypes, I missed the substance of a fantastic cartoon with a rich plot-line, solid artwork, and fairly robust character personalities.

G.I. Joe stands out without having to go too shiny or too flashy to get kids to watch. It just is, and that's enough.

The show isn't very complex, but the nonstop explosions are exciting -- which means it will still have plenty of appeal for young viewers who've been raised with quick-cut action movies.

This is some of the goofiest stuff I've ever seen, even grading on the nostalgia scale. It's inoffensive enough, to be sure, but hardly anything worth revering.
